Q1. Where is the Paul Chiang Art Center located?

A: The address is 132-2, Jinzun, Donghe Township, Taitung County, 959( Google Map Provincial Highway 11, 133.5K, 200m north, located on the hillside.)

 

Q2. Is there public transportation that directly reaches the Art Center?

A:Take Xingdong Bus routes 8101, 8102, 8103, 8109, 8119, or 8120, and get off at the “Art Center” stop. The entrance to the Center is located directly across from the bus stop. Xingdong Bus

 

Q3. What are the opening hours? What is the last admission time? Are there any closed days?

A: The Art Center is open from Wednesday to Monday (closed on Tuesdays) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The last admission is at 4:30 PM. The Art Center may close for national holidays or special events, with announcements made in advance on the official websitewww.paulchiangartcenter.org

 

Q4. If the online tickets are sold out, can I purchase tickets on-site?

A: If online reservations are full, please contact the Art Center Reception to check if on-site ticket sales are available. (Reception phone: 0966-421049)

 

Q5. Can I purchase tickets on-site if I want to visit the Art Center on the same day?

A: Same-day tickets are available at the Reception if there are still open spots. Please confirm availability by phone before coming. (Reception phone: 0966-421049)

 

Q6. If I qualify for discounted or free tickets but do not bring the required ID, can I still enter?

A: If you are unable to provide the required documents, we kindly ask that you purchase a full-price ticket. Unfortunately, pre-booked tickets cannot be upgraded by paying the price difference.

 

Q7. What if my child doesn’t have an ID? How can I verify their eligibility for free admission?

A: For foreign visitors, please present your child’s passport. For Taiwan residents, please provide your child’s National Health Insurance (NHI) card or a copy of the household registration for verification.

 

Q8. If I arrive earlier or later than my scheduled time, can I still enter the Art Center?

A: If you arrive outside your scheduled time, we’ll do our best to accommodate you. If capacity allows at the time of your arrival, our staff will assist you with entry. If we are at full capacity, you may need to wait until we can admit more visitors.。

 

Q9. Can I leave the Art Center and re-enter on the same day?

A: You will receive a stamp upon entry. With this stamp and your ticket (digital or paper), you may re-enter the Art Center for free on the same day.

 

Q10. Do you offer guided tours?

A: The Art Center offers audio guides for the exhibits via QR codes. Please bring your phone and headphones to access the guides. For scheduled guided tours, please refer to the Guided Tour Service(Guided Tour Service) section on the Art Center’s official website for more details.

 

Q11. Are there restaurants or cafes in the Art Center?

A: Yes! Café Debussy is open from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is closed on Tuesdays, when the Art Center is closed. Light meals are served from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that the café is inside the Art Center, so you’ll need a ticket to enter. The café operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not accept reservations, so be sure to stop by early!

 

Q12. Are there services for people with mobility impairments?

A: The Reception has wheelchairs available for loan and accessible restrooms. An elevator provides access to the second-floor of Gallery 3 (Cheng-Han Gallery) and Café Debussy.

Most outdoor pathways are made of stone tiles, and there are a few areas with light slopes, which may not fully meet accessibility needs. We apologize for any inconvenience. Q13. Is there a space for babies and toddlers?

A: The accessible restroom has a diaper-changing table, and the Reception provides hot and cold water dispensers. Please bring your own stroller when visiting.

 

Q14. Can I bring pets to the Art Center?

A: Pets are not allowed inside the Art Center, except for guide dogs. Please note that we do not offer pet-sitting services.

 

Q15. Are there any recommended nearby tourist attractions to visit besides the Art Center?
